Abstract

Acupuncture is a commonly used treatment in traditional Chinese medicine. The invasive and painful nature of acupuncture makes painless laser acupuncture more popular. Existing research also shows that laser acupuncture is effective in disease treatment. Therefore, we chose laser acupuncture as the experimental method. Observe the physiological changes of the human body after laser acupuncture through experimental observation. Different output power, accumulated wavelength, Power Density, etc. will affect the effect of laser acupuncture. In addition, we also compare the effects of different methods. Use ELAS emulated laser acupuncture to achieve the effect of simulating puncture and acupuncture. It allows us to compare the difference between laser acupuncture and needle lifting. Pulse and acupoint resistance are documented for disease diagnosis. Acupoint resistance is the measurement of skin resistance on acupoints. This is very helpful for us to observe the effect of laser acupuncture. No one has yet used both to observe. Our contribution is to use both to observe the effects of laser acupuncture. In the experiment, we observed laser acupuncture with different power, different experiment time and different methods. We found that the more output power, the more change in Pulse and acupoint conductivity.The results show the more time in experience, the more change in Pulse and acupoint conductivity.Acupuncture manipulation with lifting-and-thrusting effect has a greater impact on acupoint conductivity and pulse characteristics.
